    Married applicants may apply for a separate account.

    If you are applying for Joint Credit with another person, both the Primary Applicant and Joint Applicant sections must be completed.

    You authorize the credit union to obtain credit reports on all applicants in connection with this request.

    You agree that:



    • The Credit Union can use credit reporting agencies or otherwise to verify the information on this loan application for the purpose of extending credit or services to you or reviewing or collecting a credit account of yours: and
    • The Credit Union can tell others about its credit experience with you and obtain information from others about your credit history and financial performance: and
    • The Credit Union may request updated financial information from time to time, that the Credit Union will record such information if it is not given in writing, and that the Credit Union will rely on such information as if it were included in this application: and
    • If you have listed a joint applicant, you certify that the joint applicant has authorized the submission of this application and that you both intend to apply for joint credit.


    You further understand and agree that the action of submitting this application constitutes your electronic signature, and your electronic submission of this application shall be legally binding, such transaction shall be considered authorized by you, and the same terms that apply to a signed paper application will apply to this electronically submitted application.



    You understand that any approval granted as a result of this application is subject to your eligibility for membership and further review by the Credit Union. You understand that if approved, you will receive additional agreements and disclosures that are applicable to the type of credit requested.



    By submitting this loan request, you agree that the information is correct to the best of your knowledge. You also agree to notify us of any changes to your name, address or employment.



    Access to Internet websites from open or unsecured WiFi (wireless) networks such as those found in Internet cafes, public places and airports are at a higher risk of being compromised by the criminal element. Therefore, Smart Financial Credit Union recommends that you apply from a secured network, e.g. your home, rather than from open/shared WiFi networks. While home networks are still vulnerable to a degree, they are at less risk than using a public network. Smart Financial utilizes many security measures to assure that your information is secure. However, we advise that you take these extra precautions to provide an additional layer of security.
